| Grape varieties | 100% Syrah, aged in barrels. |
| Tasting notes | Deep garnet color with purple highlights. A complex and refined nose marked by varietal notes — violet, blackcurrant, licorice — and spicy aromas of black pepper and clove. The attack is rich and expressive, evolving into a structured palate with well-integrated, harmonious tannins. The finish is mineral and empyreumatic (subtle smoky and roasted notes). |
| Food pairings | A cellaring wine to enjoy at its peak with the great classics of local gastronomy: bécasse à la royale, seven-hour leg of lamb, bone marrow-stuffed cardoons, or pigeon stuffed with foie gras and truffles. |
| Cellaring potential: | Over 10 years |
| Serving temperature | 15 to 17°C (59–63°F) |
| Terroir | Limestone scree over blue marl. A selection from the 10 rows producing the most concentrated berries (22–25 hl/ha), located on the southwest-facing slope of the Serre de Courrent parcel. |
| Aging | Aged in one-wine French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months |
