A unique place in a protected environment, Château Bizard is certainly a gem. More importantly, though, it is a place of passion and hard work, because as the French saying goes, “a beautiful cage does not feed the bird”.

Château Bizard
The Grignan-les-Adhémar Appellation
Located in the Rhône Valley, Château Bizard is a historic wine producer, releasing its first bottles in 1862. The estate takes its name from its former owner, Claude Bizard, who died in 1712. The property evolved from a silkworm farm to a renowned vineyard within the local “Grignan-les-Adhémar” appellation, which was known as “Coteaux du Tricastin” until 2010.
The wines have held the AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) label since 1973, guaranteeing their quality and exceptional terroir. They are produced on clay-limestone soils that produce well-rounded, powerful wines with rich aromatics.
Château Bizard embodies the tradition and winemaking expertise of the Rhône Valley while remaining committed to preserving nature, its people and the built heritage that surrounds it.
