Tasting notes

Deep magenta red with purple highlights. Aromatic and rich, offering scents of ripe fruits — cherry and blackberry — along with hints of licorice. On the palate, flavors of wild berries with fine, smooth tannins and a well-structured body. A flavorful, charming, and seductive wine.

Food pairings

A perfect match with veal shank en croûte or guinea fowl with cabbage. Also delightful with tuna tartare or salmon in red wine sauce. A surprising companion to spiced dishes such as Moroccan tagine, Indian curry, or Réunionese cari.

La Montagne de Raucoule 2021 is a distinctive red wine from the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation, produced by Château Bizard in the heart of Drôme Provençale. This Rhône Valley red wine captivates with its structure, aromatic richness, and elegance.
