One of the characteristics inherent to Château Bizard is growing its vines on hillsides.

Vines are arranged North to South so ventilation from the dominant northern or southern winds chases away humidity, limits the risks of parasites, minimises the number of treatments against vine diseases and endows the fruit with outstanding flavour as the grapes ripen without excess heat.

At Château Bizard, the most characteristic Rhône Valley vines are planted together:
Syrah and Grenache noir are naturally dominant whilst Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon plants complete the organoleptic diversities providing the typical aspects of our production.
